Janyce Claire Newman
has over fifteen years experience working in violence prevention education and community organizations here in Minnesota, as well as five years in Toronto, Canada. She has worked with individual clients and support groups, and currently focuses on educating youth, parents and teachers on child sexual abuse. Ms. Newman continues her work with families of children with special needs, developing violence prevention curricula, and collaborating with local agencies. She has her MA from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Diane Czech
has over fifteen years working with community violence efforts, and has developed curriculum to enhance safe school environments. She has conducted workshops and trainings, and has presented to parents, professionals and community agencies and over 58,000 students of all ages. She continues to be a consultant and resource for school districts throughout the state. Diane received her BA in Psychology and Community Violence Prevention from Metropolitan State University.
